Our Commitment

Intrvl does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data. The app operates entirely on your device, with no accounts, no servers, and no cloud services.

What We Don't Collect

We do not collect or have access to:

• Personal information (name, email, phone number, address)
• Usage data or analytics
• Device identifiers
• Location data
• Health or fitness data
• Crash logs or diagnostics
• Any other information about you or how you use the app

How Intrvl Works

Intrvl is a precision timer and training analytics platform that runs entirely on your iPhone. All timer settings, preferences, workout logs, and analytics data — including Effective Volume, Strain Score, and Muscle Heatmap calculations — remain on your device and are never transmitted elsewhere.

Local Storage Only: Any preferences you set (such as custom timer durations, alert sounds, haptic feedback settings, or screen flashing options) are stored locally on your device using Apple's standard UserDefaults system. Workout history and coach-distributed programs are also stored on-device only. This data never leaves your device except via optional iCloud sync, which is managed entirely by Apple.

Optional iCloud Sync: Intrvl offers optional iCloud sync for your workout history across your Apple devices. This sync is managed entirely by Apple using your personal iCloud account — Intrvl's infrastructure is never involved and we never have access to your synced data. You can enable or disable iCloud sync at any time in Settings.

No Intrvl Servers: Outside of optional Apple-managed iCloud sync, Intrvl does not connect to the internet, send data to Intrvl's servers, or communicate with any third-party services.

Third-Party Services

Intrvl does not integrate with or share data with any third-party services, analytics providers, advertising networks, or data brokers.

App Store and Payment Processing

Intrvl is distributed through the Apple App Store. Any purchase, subscription, or billing information you provide is processed by Apple, not by us. We do not have access to your payment details or App Store account information.

For questions about billing, refunds, or your App Store account, please contact Apple Support directly or manage your subscriptions through your device settings.

System-Level Data

While Intrvl itself collects no data, please note:

• iOS System Data: Apple's iOS may automatically collect system-level crash reports or diagnostic data for all apps on your device. We have no access to this information.
• App Store Analytics: We have disabled Apple's app analytics in our App Store developer account, so we receive no usage statistics or analytics from Apple about how you use Intrvl.

Permissions

Intrvl may request the following permissions to function properly:

• Notifications: To alert you when a timer completes. You can enable or disable notifications in your device settings.
• Audio: To play alert sounds when a timer completes. Audio is handled locally on your device.

These permissions are used solely for app functionality and do not involve data collection or transmission.

Data Retention and Backups

Local Data: Your workout logs, analytics history, training programs, and app settings are retained on your device until you delete the Intrvl app. You can reset all settings at any time by deleting and reinstalling the app.

iCloud Sync: If you have enabled iCloud sync, your workout data is stored in your personal iCloud account. You can delete this data at any time via your iCloud settings. Intrvl has no access to your iCloud data.

Device Backups: Your locally stored app data may be included in your device's iCloud or iTunes backups as part of Apple's standard backup process. We have no control over or access to these backups. For information about managing your device backups, please consult Apple's support documentation.

Children's Privacy

Intrvl does not knowingly collect data from anyone, including children under the age of 13. Because we collect no data at all, the app is safe for users of all ages.

Data Security

Since Intrvl does not collect, store, or transmit your data, there is no risk of your information being intercepted, breached, or misused. All app functionality occurs locally on your device, protected by your device's built-in security features.

Your Rights

Because we do not collect any personal data, there is no data to access, correct, delete, or transfer. You maintain full control over the app's local settings, which you can reset at any time by deleting and reinstalling the app.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction

This privacy policy is governed by the laws of Australia. Any disputes arising from this policy will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Australia.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal reasons. Any updates will be posted on this page with a revised effective date and version number. Because Intrvl does not collect data, any future changes are unlikely to affect your privacy in a meaningful way.
